In addition, all aircraft using WA waters must purchase the WA AIS permit for seaplanes. On the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife website link below, go to "Product Categories > Other” to select the Seaplane Permit.

If you need to have the state decontaminate your aircraft, you can call 360-902-2200 option 2 for enforcement to request inspectors to schedule a place and time to meet you.

MONTANA has approved the training and requirements listed on the home page, however . . .

Tiber and Canyon Ferry are mussel positive! Although there are no laws prohibiting landing in these places, extra caution should be exercised and decontamination would be necessary prior to entering other water bodies.

SPA’s Water Landing Directory now includes the AIS data for water bodies in MT. While there are only two currently with known mussels, many have different kinds of plants. Remember to clean before leaving . . .

Invasive Species Stickers are required for resident vessels, however there is no provision at this time for seaplanes.
